Noteworthy: Dangers of Self Produced Music

MusicGlobalization

I came across this blog and this article through the professional networking site, linkedin.com. Although I haven’t yet had the opportunity to fully connect with Music Globalization, the organization seems to offer an extensive reach into the music industry.  Through this article, author Marty Frascogna, writes towards some challenges with self-producing music.

For anyone looking to start a band or produce their own music, this is a must read.  The online music community is saturated with new and emerging bands – this is clutter and in order to break free of this clutter, research and investment (time, sweat, and money) must be put forward.

Breakthrough Band is not designed to encourage every aspiring musician to record music and try to become a rock star.  Rather, a truly aspiring musician taking advantage of outside resources, opportunity, instruction, direction, will benefit most from the collection of information here.

To the aspiring musicians who are prepared to give what it takes to move forward with music; read this article..

“Set ego aside for a minute and become deeply aware with the common pitfalls with a self released album. If you can avoid the following traps you’ve already set yourself apart from the millions of other bands around the globe.”
